Musaic 2008 offers the following tracks based on Ministry gifting and specialization.

LEADERSHIP

The musicians and artists in your flock are a unique breed, aren’t they? Often stereotyped as moody and eccentric, sometimes you’d rather steer clear of them. But should you? Pastors and administrators have an incredibly vital role in the musicians’ and artists’ lives. Your influence upon them directly affects your worship ministry’s impact on you, your congregation and the community you are trying to reach. Also learn more of the what’s and how’s of managing an effective and efficient worship ministry that will work for your church.

FIL-CHINESE CHURCH WORSHIP MINISTRY

What best describes your Fil-Chinese congregational worship today? Vibrant? Dynamic? Exciting? Reticent? Predictable? Can’t put your finger on it? Instructors will speak on their insights and experiences on issues concerning understanding your particular worship culture. You will also discuss principles and strategies in bridging leadership and generation gaps. Dr. Myrleene Grace Yap will be our primary speaker for this Track.

Kids’ worship is for kids, not for adults! Pretty obvious, isn’t it? But is that what’s really going on with the kids’ worship services in your church? Keep Jesus and His Word mightily relevant to your little flock as you update yourself with what’s new, what still works really great, and what doesn’t work anymore.

YOUTH WORSHIP MINISTRY

The youth – ah, that restless, eternally-in-motion group! They, too, thirst for a relevant Jesus in their own lives, worship services and activities! Learn how to understand them, how to involve them in your community, and how youth leaders/pastors of Greenhills Christian Fellowship and Christ’s Commision Fellowship stay in motion with their upbeat sheep.

If you are one of those worship leaders who have the insatiable desire to help bring your congregations to a place of consistently experiencing God in congregational worship as meaningfully as they ever can, then come and learn more, more, more about the heart and art of leading your team and your congregation into excellent, Spirit-led worship of God.

SINGERS

You can either sing, or you can minister. Which one will it be? Know how understanding your purpose, communicating your passion, and honing your skill can produce life change and help bring about God’s agenda in your hearers. Exciting, di ba?

THEATER MINISTRY

Can a theater ministry really enhance the worship life of my church? Know for sure! Rediscover the power of effective theater/communication in worship! Our Christian teachers will also lead you through the myriad aspects of creative stage performance, and the how to’s of improvising presentations that will fit your specific church environment.

DANCE MINISTRY

If there is such a thing as an effective theater ministry for church, then there is such a thing as an effective dance ministry for worship, too. Step to the beat of movement and choreography, communication and performance to powerfully communicate no less than God’s Word to your congregation.

BAND

Did you know that some of the country’s finest and long-standing musical directors are also upstanding born- again believers? Now’s your chance to get up close and personal with two of them, and be inspired to adopt their professionalism, excellence and spirituality into your own worship band and provide a fresh ministry impact of powerful communication and performance on your church. You just might have a personal revival yourself.

MUSIC TECHNOLOGY

Are you a tekkie musician? This one’s for you!

Learn from well-established Christian musicians in the Filipino music industry about how music technology helped them create, arrange, and enhance their music and compositions. Let them dissolve the mysteries and teach you how all this can be used in the worship moments of your church, without appearing spaced-out and still remaining relevant to your congregation.

SONG WRITING

Praise God, Heis a God of music and song! And He has created song writers to edify His church. Are you one of them? Instructors will share their songwriting experiences and give practical principles of writing better songs for your personal worship and for congregational worship.

MEDIA MINISTRY

How far can your imagination go? Why not let it go all the way to where God leads it, as He uses that imagination of yours to make powerful multimedia tools for the growth and edification of your congregation? Conceptualize and design your best weekly bulletins, church service announcements. powerpoint presentations, and promotions of  your Christian events, and more.

PRODUCTION

You know exactly what it takes - backstage and off stage – to help your pastors and worship ministers to minister at their very best, and have a seamless worship service and other church events. Then learn from these Christian instructors as they share their experiences in managing events – from choosing your people, to planning, to delivering the event itself, for God’s agenda and glory!

SOUNDS & LIGHTS

Your ministry spells the difference between clarity and obscurity, in communicating God’s message properly to your congregation. Know the essentials of the sound system, and in part, lights design. Because no two auditoriums are ever the same, instructors will help you determine what works best for your specific church setup.
