Ron Man studied to be an opera conductor before coming to faith in Christ and studying theology at Dallas Theological Seminary. He has served in pastoral roles in churches in Europe and the U.S.

He was a full-time Pastor of Worship & Music for 12 years (in Memphis, Tennessee) just before joining GEM. Since 2000 he has been the Director of Worship Resources for Greater Europe Mission; his main focus is on teaching on the biblical foundations of worship in seminaries, Bible schools and churches across Europe, as well as in the U.S and the Middle East.

He has a website with many writings and other resources about worship (www.worr.org); produces the free online worship newsletter, Worship Notes (which may be found on his website also); has another website, Quotables, which contains many quotes about worship and other subjects (worr.wordpress.com); and has published a book entitled Proclamation and Praise: Hebrews 2:12 and the Christology of Worship (Wipf & Stock, 2007).

This is his first trip to Philippines.
